Devotional Singing
Singing of bhajans and devotional songs has a form of a dedicated meeting in Sai centre or group. Men and women sit separately, which allows them to focus on spiritual practice. There is 10 minutes long silent meditation before and after singinging. At the end of the meeting a series of prayers is sung (so called Benediction) concluded by a prayer called arati.
We have two songbooks at our disposal—one with spiritual songs in Czech and other languages, the other with Indian bhajans. They can be borrowed in the Sai centre for use during the devotional singing meeting.
Devotional singing in Sai centre in Prague – Vršovice (you may find the map and address here takes place every Thursday. The actual programme starts at 18:20, however in order not to have time to sit down comfortably, it is good to come around 18:00 (latest at 18:15).
